A mand and a woman meet each other in a dream. They don't know each other and cannot touch, because an enormous empty space divides them. They try to speak, but they are mute. Every night they dream each other, and every day they wait for the night to see if they can communicate. One day they try to stop speaking when they are awake, to have words in their dreams. They start a game of theft, stealing themselves the same words they will use in their dream. But they speak two different languages and cannot understand each other. But, the words that they say, thoufh impossible to understand, become small threads, strings intertwining and connecting them in a thin but incredibly strong bond. Everyday they keep silent. and every night they speak without understanding each other, because they know that one day that bond will be strong enough to fill the empty space that divides them. And they will be able to hug each other, mute and happy, in an embrace that will five a meaning to all the words they said.

Un uomo e una donna si incontrano in un sogno. Non si conoscono, non possono toccarsi perché sono separati da un vuoto enorme. Cercano di parlare, ma scoprono di essere muti. Ogni notte si sognano, e ogni giorno aspettano la notte per provare a comunicare. Un giorno decidono di smettere di parlare da svegli, per avere parole nei sogni. Iniziano così un gioco di sottrazioni, in cui rubano a sé stessi le parole che pronunceranno nel sogno. Ma parlano due lingue diverse, e non si possono capire. Eppure le parole che ognuno pronuncia, incomprensibili all’altro, diventano fili sottili, lacci che si intrecciano e li stringono l’uno all’altra in un legame sottile ma incredibilmente forte. Ogni giorno restano in silenzio, e ogni notte continuano a parlarsi senza capirsi, perché sanno che un giorno quel legame sarà talmente forte da colmare il vuoto che li separa, e potranno stringersi, muti e felici, in un abbraccio in cui tutte le parole che si sono detti avranno finalmente un significato.
